- Saturday Jan. 3 Drag Show Night: Enjoy a late-night show with a rotating cast of performers at O.Henry’s, North Carolina’s oldest gay bar. This 21+ event runs weekly throughout January.
- Sunday, January 4th O.Henry’s hosts a Community Potluck bringing regulars, neighbors, and queer folks new to town into the same room. It runs roughly 5:00–8:00 PM, with the bar opening at 4:00 PM You can bring a sharable dish if you like, but it’s optional, and the focus stays on casual conversation and meeting people without any social performance. It’s 21+ with valid ID. Allies are welcome, but the space centers LGBTQ community

- Sunday, January 11th Comediene Sam Jay is coming to the Orange Peel. Doors at 7 show at 8. Sam Jay is a stand up comic and emmy nominated writer best known as the host and Producer of HBO’s weekly late night series, Pause with Sam Jay.
