Bees! With Sarah McKinney
Join me as I explore the amazing world of bees and beekeeping with Sarah McKinney, known locally as The Bee Whisperer. Tragically, Sarah was taken from us in 2020, and this first Local Fauna podcast episode celebrates her and all she gave to our community.
She was an educator and storyteller, taught in area schools and spread the love of bees at local events. Check out the educational opportunities available at the local bee supply store downtown Weaverville, Honey & The Hive, an important part of her legacy. She occupied a unique place in the beekeeping world, in Asheville, and in our hearts.
