Thanks to the Programming Committee at Asheville FM, we have cobbled together yet another 6 months of radio. This schedule will go into effect beginning SUNDAY MAY 29 and run until SATURDAY DECEMBER 3
LET’S WELCOME NEW HOSTS, SHOWS & SLOTS
On Sunday at 11, DJ Spin is cooling things down with Vaporwave, while Chuk will heat things up on Running a Temperature Revival at 2. Sunday also features a new film soundtrack show hosted by Isaac called Hearing the Movies.
Walker and Bob join forces on a new environmental issues talk show on Monday at 9 am called Climate Buzz. The Final Straw is also at a new time on Monday following Democracy Now. Abby moves her Joyful Noise to Monday at 5 and Tenor to Tabla is now on at Monday at 10. Finish your Monday night off with OM – now at Midnight.
Tuesday will feature a new show from Whitley. She will rock your midday on All the Feels at 1pm, followed by Matt who kicks off the Tuesday drive at 3 with Let there be Rock.
Wednesday night has a few new things: DJ Dub will sizzle the Dead and all things jam with Grilled Cheese. at 8. We also want to thank Bruce and Alex for a reboot of Asheville Live Music Sessions at 10. DJ Camaro is back on at 11 with his sizzling set, Ya Don’t Stop.
Thursday has a new program at 11am: Our amazing General Manager, K.P. is back with a brand new talk show, Sweet Tea, which will highlight LGBTQ issues, culture and events.
Bruce’s new time for Music My Mother Would Not Like is Thursday at 4. Another new show for Thursday is Zero Defects, hosted by Otto. Marissa moves her global grooves Not Your Mother’s Tongue to a late night slot at midnight, and Shad shuffles 2000 Years of Radio from Sunday to Tuesday at 11am.
One addition to Friday will be Steven’s Mental Notes back on the air at 1 pm.
We are so blessed to have all these new shows and all the returning dj’s filling our schedule out in ways we haven’t seen since pre-pandemic times!!
