The Coronavirus Pandemic has exposed weaknesses in many of our systems, including our food system. Mari (MARY) Stuart is an Urban Homesteader and writer who believes eating more locally is a better food system model. She is presenting a talk about shifting your food consumption to eat more locally at this year’s Organic Grower School Spring Conference, and she joined us for a preview of that talk earlier this week.

A former Humanities professor, she now works in ecological landscape design, specializing in climate-resilient landscapes and climate-friendly agriculture planning.
