This Friday’s penultimate (emphasis on “ultimate”) episode of Life Out of Tunes will be a special encore presentation of my award-winning “Dark Side of the Moon Concert Experience” originally broadcast on March 3, 2023. The show was a personal account of my attendance at Pink Floyd’s debut North American performance of The Dark Side of the Moon, at a concert in Madison, Wisconsin 50 years prior to that original broadcast date. However, there will be a special twist for this encore show. Instead of the studio recording of Dark Side used for the original show, I’ve replaced it with a live Pink Floyd performance recorded the following year, to more accurately capture the concert that I experienced.
