  • Hendersonville Pride Open Mic Night is happening on the is Saturday May 23rd! At the Shakedown KAva Lounge
  • Sunday, May 24. Burlesque Brunch Asheville at Grey Eagle, an all BIPOC showcase. 12 to 2 pm.
  • Monday, May 25th, QT Film Club is hosting their monthly gathering for queer, trans, and femme film-makers This mmonday, 7 pm at Haywood Famous.
  • Also this monday is RE:FUSUS: A social event for surveillance awareness. DAatrip is hosting this event that includes public Q&A with Benn Jordan,m
  • Currently happening every Wednesday from 3-6, River Arts District Farmers Market. 21 Craven Street.
  • Keep an eye out on New Belgium’s social media for the next BIPOC market (July) to shop local and support the local community.

  • Saturday, May 30 at 7pm. First Congregational Church of Hendersonville hosts The Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus for a joyful concert of the Music of Elton John The venue is Trinity Presbyterian Church on Blythe Street.
  • Sunday, May 31st the Beer City Bears hosts their monthly social at 4pm at Shakey’s.
  • Sunday, May 31 Swap Market at White Labs. Join us for the White Labs Swap Market. Bring your gently loved clothing, jewelry, books, crafts, home decor, and other treasures to swap with fellow locals. One person’s “not my vibe anymore” is another person’s jackpot. Tables will be provided. Any items not swapped can head back home with you or be donated at the end of the event. Come trade, browse, sip beer, and give cool stuff a second life.
  • Friday, June 5 at 7 pm. Asheville Drag Bingo at the Hilltop Event Center. This month’s beneficiary is the YWCA. Tickets at BeardedLadyProductions.org
  • Saturday, June 6th at 10pm at Dissolvr Modelface Comedy hosts GAGGING: A Queer Comedy Showcase. Celebrating all the aspects of queer life through laughter. You don’t have to be gay to attend the show, you just have to be cool because this show will leave you gagging! 18+ event. Doors 9:30pm // Show 10PM
  • Wednesday, June 10th. Brandi Carlisle plays at Harrah’s Cherokee Center – Asheville.
  • Saturday, June 19 and Sunday June 20th Join the AVL GMC for a powerful and uplifting celebration of love, equality, and resilience! Through music and storytelling, we’ll reflect on a decade of marriage equality—exploring the triumphs, challenges, and the question: What does “happily ever after” really mean?   • Friday, June 19th, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM the Juneteenth & Pride Jubilee takes place at Innovation Station in Dillsboro.The celebration will feature:Live Music: Performances by the Natti Love Joys.Special Guests: Drag performances by Josie Glamoure, Indica Gemini, and Sanatana Sins Noir.   • Saturday, June 20 Pride on the Run 5k at Carrier Park French Broad Greenway. Join us for our 3rd annual pride 5k. Run, walk, roll, show up as you are. This event centers community, visibility, and movement. Every step supports Pride programming and local LGBTQ+ impact. What to expect: inclusive pace for all bodies, bright energy and loud pride, and community connection from start to finish. Bring your friends, flags, and your full self.   • Sunday, June 21 Summer Farmer’s Market. Explore a curated selection of local vendors, artisans, makers, and upcyclers, all showcasing handcrafted goods, unique art, and one-of-a-kind finds. This event is free to attend and family-friendly. Shop local, sip local, support local.
  • The Asheville Gay Men’s Chorus is performing at Canton Presbyterian ChurchCanton hosted by Haywood Pride.Friday, June 26 • 7 PM – 8 PM. Get ready for powerful vocals, electric energy, and a whole lot of heart. This is more than a concert—it’s a full-on celebration of music, community, and pride.

  • On June 27, 2026, AVL Stonewall Fest comes to Asheville Yards with more than a celebration—it’s a movement.
