  • Also tonight, Modelface Comedy presents 25 Asheville Comedians telling their first jokes of the New Year at Gingers Revenge including one of our favs, Josie Beers.
  • Friday , Feb 6, Asheville Drag Events, presents Asheville Drag Bingo, a fundraiser for Arms Around ASD, at Hilltop Event Center. Six rounds of bingo, prizes, and music will start at 7PM. More info about ticket and sponsorship levels is at Bearded Lady Productions dot org.
  • Also Friday, Feb 6 Roar WNC is hosting Solidarity from the Mountains to Minneapolis to raise funds for Minnesota families under attack from ICE. This happens from 5:30 to 8 in the Tea Tent in Marshall High Studios. Dinner includes Somali Chicken or Vegan stew with spiced rice.
  • Saturday Feb 7 from 7pm to 9pm Eyes Up Here Comedy: Galentine’s Day EditionBy Modelface Comedy is at Ginger’s Revenge
  • Also this Saturday February 7th, is a Crowdsource dance party at the vowel! This dance party is raising funds for two anti-carceral causes: @avlbailfund and direct legal assistance for someone detained by ICE. VOWL bar will host this party from 9 pm – 1 AM featuring DJ Hypervelvent, DJ Malintzin and Spel! come let your pent-up, snowstorm, hermit, end times energy out in the balm of collective dance!
  • Sunday, Feb 8th Asheville Yoga begins a 6 week Queer Yoga Journey. A bold, empowering series for queer and trans bodies to reclaim presence, pleasure, and power through Yoga. A sacred space for queer souls to return home -to body, to breath, to truth. Each week, move with intention, unraveling old stories, and awakening strength. Each week,the session will weave music with movement as you explore the Asanas of Liberation: at Asheville Yoga
  • Ritual Movement Presents: The Moon Dance, on Sunday, February 8th, an ecstatic dance dedicated to the Moon tarot card. Doors open at 7:30, the opening circle begins at 7:45. Bring comfy clothes, water, and an item for the altar that connects you to the moon card.
  • On Sunday Feb. 8th Join Butchout Productions for their annual Mardi Gras themed Sunday Tea Dance at Banks Ave bar from 4-7pm. An annual tradition. DJ Dan is spinning and donations to the River Arts District.
  • Monday, February 9th, our interview guest, Mckinney, is releasing their debut album, Bones, on all streaming platforms!
  • Tuesday, Feb. 10. ⁦Booty Tuesdays are back in The Office at Shakey’s⁩. ⁦February 10⁩ @ ⁦10:00 pm⁩⁦. Queer dance party with a rotation of DJs. Ages 21+.
  • Wednesday, February 11th, you can see Mckinny perform some songs from her album when she opens up for queer artist, Amelia Day, at the Grey Eagle.
  • Wednesday, February 11th 4 PM – 6 PM Join Hendersonville Pride and Transylvania & Henderson County NAACP Chapters for a public forum featuring candidates for North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District Race. Giving voters an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates, learn about their positions on key issues, and engage in the democratic process. All NC-11 Candidates have been invited to participate at the Bo Thomas Auditorium, Blue Ridge Community College, Flat Rock. It will be moderated by Hendersonville City Councilwoman Melinda Lowrence

  • Ongoing Wednesdays: No cost veggie and fruit share market. Free produce from Bountiful Cities Gardens and Manna Food bank. All are welcome. 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 3 to 5 pm. Located at William Randolph Campus Gym (90 Montford Ave)
  • Ongoing until February 15: Asheville City Market is excited to announce the vendor application is now live. Please make sure to fill them out by February 15. The city market is from April to December. More information on their Facebook page.
  • Thursday, Feb 12th join Marquee Asheville to celebrate Valentines Day with Love Marquee, from 6-9pm with DJ Ganymeade, Street Creature Puppets, and more.
  • Friday, February 13 Come do laps around the dance floor at DayTrip starting at 10 pm. $5 at the door. Music, drag, and food. Music by DJ Tamagotchi and DJ Good Sweat. Drag by Dix West and Reptilian Anderson, and Food by Hail Mary.
  • Also Friday, Feb. 13th The Stoned Witch Presents: Lacefronts of Love, a Fundraiser for WNCAP. At the Odd at 7pm doors, with show at 8pm. Hosted by local drag entertainers Nova and Atlas.
  • Friday, Feb 13 is Hauntvilles Friday the 13th intimate gathering that includes film screening, live performance, and bites by Finest Diner at The Crow and Quill. Tickets and info at Hauntville AVL dot com
  • Saturday, February 14 at 8 pm Party Foul Drag at Asheville Music Hall. Doors at 7 pm. Tickets $10.
  • Look out for Asheville’s only all BIPOC Burlesque showcase with a different lineup every month. Hosted by @the_haus_of_jane. This month, it will fall on Sunday, February 15th, from 12-2, and as always, at the grey eagle
  • Sunday Feb 15th Downtown Asheville will burst into color, rhythm, and revelry as the Mardi Gras Parade rolls through the South Slope beginning promptly at 3:05 p.m. When the last float passes, the party continues with “The Queen’s Ball,” the official after-party held immediately following the parade at the Wicked Weed Funkatorium. Guests can expect music, dancing, and royal-worthy festivities to close out the day in true Mardi Gras fashion.
  • Tuesday, Feb 17. Pansy Collective is hosting Dinner and a Show to raise funds for their Elderly Initiative,a direct support line to Queer elders in the community. Dinner includes vegan and Gluten free options and music features legendary blues guitarist Bobby Radcliffe. Dinner at 6 in Pansy Collective’s mutual aid basement. Contact them for more info

  • Saturday, February 21 February Sapphic Tea Dance from 3 to 6 pm at Banks Ave. Since our first two tea dances were a smashing success, we’re getting ready for our third joyful gathering of Sapphic women to meet, connect, and dance at The Bottom (basement of Banks Ave bar). Entrance fee: $10. This month, all profits will go to Pisgah Legal Services.
  • Queens of comedy take center stage at Katarina’s Saturday Cabaret Drag Brunch on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Banks Ave. Bar. with shows at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. This drag brunch leans hard into comedy, delivering sharp punchlines and eight laugh-out-loud performances from Asheville’s funniest queens.
