Siblings, the brother-sister indie pop duo known for their unique production style and emotive storytelling, are making waves with their latest single “Self Through Hell,” released on May 2nd. Garnering over 2,000 streams in its first few weeks, this track is a testament to their evolving sound and growing fanbase. Get ready to be hooked by their upcoming release “Worm,” set to debut on June 28th, coinciding with their much-anticipated first show in Asheville.
Having recently relocated to Asheville, Siblings are eager to immerse themselves in the local music scene and connect with new fans. This move marks a significant milestone in their journey, as it’s the first time Quinn and Iko will be creating and performing from the same city after a year and a half of bi-coastal collaboration.
Earlier this year, Siblings embarked on their inaugural string of shows in Los Angeles, including a standout performance in collaboration with Trash Mag at Junior High in Glendale, California. Their cross-country adventure brought them back East, where they charmed audiences at Espresso News in Boone, NC, and most recently, at the lively Somerville Porch Fest.
Siblings’ innovative sound has not gone unnoticed. They have been featured in several prominent online publications such as Secret Eclectic, Up to Hear Music, and Melodic Mag. Additionally, their recent tracks have been spotlighted by BIRP Magazine. Their latest single, “Self Thru Hell,” showcases the duo’s dynamic range, co-produced and mixed by indie artist Huron John.
Musically, Siblings are exploring two distinct paths: lush, synthesizer-driven soundscapes with auto-tuned vocals and automated live audio effects, and a more relaxed, acoustic approach that captures their spontaneous creativity. This duality in their sound offers a refreshing and versatile listening experience, keeping fans eagerly anticipating their next move.
Quinn and Iko’s move to Asheville signifies a new chapter, allowing them to dedicate more time to developing their sound and honing their live performances. They are excited to build a community with fellow artists and indie music enthusiasts, enriching the vibrant Asheville music scene with their unique blend of sounds and emotive performances.
Stay tuned for more from Siblings as they continue to push boundaries and captivate audiences with their innovative and passionate music.
