We are now using the Timecounts site to log our hours. Please visit the website and log your hours there. You will first need to create an account and join the Asheville FM “hub” to log your hours (go to the website and click the red “Join Us” button to join our hub).
If you signed up for a tabling shift or other event shift, the hours will automatically be logged for you, so please do not log those hours! If you’re logging your regular ongoing volunteer work (reviewing albums, running a department, etc.), you’ll want to log your hours “ad hoc”. You can log your hours as you go, or keep track and enter them all at the end of the month, or on a weekly basis–whatever works for you. If you’re logging by month, please be sure you set the date to be the first of the month you’re logging for (i.e., log all your hours for March under 3/1).
When you log in, you should see a page kind of like this (but with AFM branding):
Hit that “Log Time” button and it’ll take you to this page:
Tell us about your volunteering: Give a general name for the activity. No need to add skills for now.
Clarify timeframes: You can only put one date in for your volunteering–if you’re recording on a monthly basis, please use the first of whatever month you’re reporting (so if you’re entering a cumulative log of all hours for the month of July, you’d enter 7/1/2021). If you’re logging each day’s work as you go, enter that date.
Add details: This is totally optional, but can be helpful for us to understand how people are using their time at the station, and what’s involved in certain roles.
