Join JD in celebrating one of progressive rock’s greatest concept albums by Genesis, released in 1974. It would be the last to feature Peter Gabriel on vocals. The double LP was a surreal story about a Puerto Rican youth named Rael who is taken on a spiritual journey of self-discovery and identity as he encounters bizarre incidents and characters. Genesis supported the album with a 102-date concert tour across North America and Europe, playing the album in its entirety. This Thursday, November 21st, JD will present his favorite sides of Lamb at 1pm. Then, hour two will feature the works of Pete Sinfield who sadly died last week. He co-founded King Crimson and wrote lyrics for their first four LP’s. A respected poet, he would go on to write lyrics for many famous rock and pop stars. Show will end with Animals As Leaders, who are playing Orange Peel this Friday evening! Tune in during Fall Fund Drive, where $10 from every donation goes to help artists and musicians affected by Hurricane Helene!!!
