On Tuesday, June 25th the City Council Meeting took place that concerned the fate of the Flatiron Building downtown, which houses a number of local shops. All About Girls Rock Asheville

News Correspondent M.E. Sprengelmeyer got the chance to speak with some members of Girls Rock Asheville for a fun-filled segment. Girls Rock Asheville is a nonprofit camp that empowers youth ages 8-14 who self-identify as female, trans, and/or gender non-binary, of all backgrounds and abilities, through music education. Campers build confidence and create community with each other while writing music, learning about gear and the mechanics of sound, and participating in a range of empowering workshops and performances by local female-inclusive bands.
