- This Friday is Tuck It Up, Buttercup at Banks Ave. bar. Music: DJ Bleu Lallama & DJ Blazze 9pm Showtime: 11:30pm. A night of interactive drag and dance music with an ever-changing lineup, each event will blend well-known, established queens/kings with up-and-coming queens/kings from the community and surrounding areas.
- Saturday, May 4th The Asheville Yoga Center is presenting an evening of refreshments, finger food, desert, culminating in a live concert with the incredible duo LVDY. (LADY) 5:30-7pm Community Party â Finger Food, Dessert & Refreshments 7-8:30pm Concert. LADY is a Colorado-based duo comprised of Kathleen Hooper and Aubrey Mable. Their uplifting sound and intimate storytelling is a delightful recipe of singer-songwriter, indie-folk, with powerful melodies and harmonies that speak to the senses.
- In Boone on Satuday May the 4th itâs the third annual Queer Expo! Shop queer artists, enjoy free snacks, and hang out with LGBTQ+ community in downtown Boone. There will be several raffles for neat things like tarot decks, astrology chart readings, and gift certificates for local spots around town. A portion of all proceeds go to support local queer folx in need, because mutual aid makes us stronger!
- Also this Saturday, Modelface Comedy presents Eyes Up Here Comedy at Ginger’s Revenge! a night featuring all femme comedians and this month we have a special show featuring comedians from Asheville and around the South East.
