EAGLE Asheville pop-up events are for male-identifying, male-presenting, gay/bi/queer folx who are members of the leather community (or curious about joining it).The events are safe, inclusive spaces—not sex parties or tourist attraction for onlookers. Giving voters an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates, learn about their positions on key issues, and engage in the democratic process. All NC-11 Candidates have been invited to participate at the Bo Thomas Auditorium, Blue Ridge Community College, Flat Rock. It will be moderated by Hendersonville City Councilwoman Melinda Lowrence

• Sunday Feb 15th Downtown Asheville will burst into color, rhythm, and revelry as the Mardi Gras Parade rolls through the South Slope beginning promptly at 3:05 p.m. When the last float passes, the party continues with “The Queen’s Ball,” the official after-party held immediately following the parade at the Wicked Weed Funkatorium. Guests can expect music, dancing, and royal-worthy festivities to close out the day in true Mardi Gras fashion.
