JD welcomes Asheville musician and guitar tech to the stars, Andre Cholmondeley AND world-renown guitarist and composer Paul Bielatowicz, who has recorded and toured with Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy, Neal Morse, Dream Theater, Todd Rundgren, Arthur Brown, Alan Parsons Project, Yes and more. Andre has worked tours for Yes, Ani DiFranco, Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Pat Metheny, Ten Years After, Adrian Belew, Al Di Meola and many others. Citizen Vinyl will present, NOSFERATU LIVE with PAUL BIELATOWICZ, on Friday, January 27th, an evening of music and immersive multimedia, culminating in a complete performance of his Prog Rock soundtrack to the 1922 silent horror film, on 3 video screens, and includes an all-star guest musician lineup. Plus some ELP!! Andre Cholmondeley’s solo project, We Are Ants To Them, will open! Tune in this Thursday at 3PM for ticket giveaways!

We were recording on Thursday, January 12th, 2023 – and caught Isaac Hadden – Isaac is a young, genre-smashing guitarist and vocalist from Southwest, VA, currently based in Asheville, NC.

He is gaining attention for his passion and talent, and building a supportive fanbase in the United States and abroad. He has played alongside some of the hottest acts on the music festival circuit and performed supporting sets for a growing list of legendary guitarists.

He fronts the Isaac Hadden Project, an improvisational jazz-infused funk-rock group comprised of seasoned professionals from Southwest, VA as well as Isaac Hadden Organ trio, an unconventional jazz-funk group that features powerhouse musicians from western NC. He also performs regular solo acoustic shows, making use of live looping and a unique approach to the acoustic guitar. With over a decade of musical experience, his fresh, high-energy performances routinely leave audiences clamoring for more.

City of Asheville Homelessness Report

The National Alliance to End Homelessness (NAEH) has finalized their needs assessment of homelessness in Asheville and corresponding recommendations related to unsheltered homelessness.

Report: Within Reach: Ending Unsheltered Homelessness in the Asheville-Buncombe Continuum of Care

Community members are welcome and encouraged to attend the January 25, 2023 Joint City/County Meeting to hear the results of the needs assessment and the recommended strategies to improve our community response to homelessness, presented in person by Ann Oliva, CEO of NAEH, and Josh Johnson, Senior Technical Assistance Specialist. The meeting will be held at the Harrah’s Cherokee Center – Asheville from 1 – 4 p.m. and will be live streamed on the City’s YouTube channel.
