This week’s Civic Roundup covers the Buncombe County Commissioners meeting of July 18, 2023, at which the commissioners voted to pay for their share of an audit of the reparations that the county and city are jointly engaged in. They also decided to keep the council meetings at the same time, and to pay for repairs to the flooring of the Asheville High School gym using monies recouped when it was discovered that the HVAC system could be repaired rather than replaced.
