Try as I might, I have not succeeded in pre-recording my show so that I can continue to produce new content through the lockdown. That’s why my shows have all been reruns during this wacky time we’re all living through. I finally gave up on pre-recording after many abortive attempts, and will not be broadcasting live for the time being. I hope to get back in the studio live again soon for the Mothership Slight Return’s grand return!
But in the meantime, please find my weekly commentaries on the Please Pass the Hacksaw show with Dr. Hyena, where I’ll be passing along the kinds of ruminations you’ve grown accustomed to on the Mothership Slight Return’s news hour. Masks are now being recommended to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, but finding masks can be a challenge. A local group of activists saw the need and responded immediately by forming the group Masks Of Love, a DIY sewing group creating homemade masks for the community. AFM News correspondent KP Whaley talked to one of their organizers about their efforts.
